Hey there!
I am Dannie, or better know as, Danielle Shellhamer, and I’m so glad you want to get to know me a bit better.
I am known for being the outgoing person in the crowd (although I am quit the homebody), loving a good nights sleep, addicted to Pinterest (diagnosed by my husband) and not being that great at motivating myself… yet great at encouraging others.
I also love getting creative!
I am a stay at home mum of three wonderfully active boys and a dog. Kenton is my oldest who is curious yet cautious and will never let a day go by without asking for Curious George. James is my youngest and he is still too young to tell what mischief he will get into, but he is a great little guy with lots of smiles and laughs. Last but not least is my husband, Morgan, who is my calm and my support. He is always encouraging me and putting up with the messes I make when getting creative (even if it means eating anywhere but the kitchen table). Oh… and the dog, Darcy. We have a love hate relationship… he loves me and I… well lets just leave it there.
I love being productive and with that comes the creative side of my brain. As a stay at home mum, I am always on my toes with the kids BUT I try not to let that stop me from making new things and doing projects that stretch my creatively (and sometimes the budget). As soon as all my supplies are out, the whole house becomes my craft room and it usually ends up being a couple of weeks of trying to fit creative time between my normal day events.
I am doing this blog to help motivate myself and put the projects I have done and will do out there on the chopping block. Let me know what you think! My idea is to inspire you to get your hands dirty and do what you love. :)
